³¹ He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. ³² It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

   MSC Home:    

    MSC is a non-denominational, independent Bible Church. Currently we can seat 20 people inside of Christian Books beside of our home at 5119 Dogwood Drive Mount Jackson, VA.  If we ever need to move inside to our home, I think we could seat 30 or so.

    The books inside of Christian Books are available to you for a reasonable donation and currently number about 1500 books. In Matthew 7:12, Jesus states: “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

    Our Mustard Seed Music Ministry is also available on any given Sunday Morning or Evening at your Church to provide read-along or sing-along recordings of wonderful theologically rich hymns.  

   There are some sample hymn recordings for your listening pleasure and the scheduling information available by clicking on the "Enjoy" tab above.  You'll receive quite a blessing from familiar and some unfamiliar hymns.

    Mustard Seed Church is our 2nd Church Plant in the Valley.  The first being in Winchester and is now in reliable hands.  

    Christ Reigns Church legally assumed possession of our first Church plant in August 2025 and stands as a small monument to Jesus as a testimony to what can be done for Him with a bit of elbow grease and desire.  

    We hope to grow this small Church into a new building of about 1,200 square feet Somewhere in or near Mount Jackson that can seat around 50 to 75 people and to include a finished basement.  If it be The Lord's Will, once established, we’d like to gift the Church and all proceeds and assets into capable hands of a younger board of directors and a married male Pastor, or a Widower with exception depending. 

    If you’re currently renting Church space and we share similar beliefs, you’re welcome to join us today rent-free as Senior Pastor, preaching a Worship Service while I serve as Associate Pastor for an Adult Sunday School Service. Or if we share similar beliefs, we might join your Church and bring our assets if you are seeking to build a Church of your own to have as a congregation.

    For what it’s worth, MSC is partially financially ready to build the future Church.  My wife and I will not be able to continue leading the formation of this Church by ourselves beyond 11/26, as we’re nearing 70 years old and wish to have some help in overseeing, drawings, meeting with the county planning officials, building permit officials and the contractors, etc.

    If you’re one who is serious about your walk with the Lord and want to do something grand for Him, opportunity is knocking on your heart's door, just let HIM in to work through you. We invite you to join this Church Plant as Charter and Founding Members.  For younger men or pastors, this is a unique opportunity to create a beautiful, small Early American-style Christian Church that will serve generations long after we have all passed away.
